ABOUT UNIGRANRIO’S VIRTUAL LIBRARY
In 1972, it was inaugurated the Euclides da Cunha Library at the Duque de Caxias Campus, which originated the Unigranrio’s Integrated System of Libraries.
On March 1, 2011, the Integrated System of Libraries had its structure reformulated and approved through the Resolution n° 001/2011 by the Dean and began to count with a Nucleus of Library Coordination, 12 (twelve) Libraries and a Unity of Conservation and Restoration of Documents – UCORE.
The Virtual Library is an assisting tool in the search for information and provides its users a simultaneous search in the collection, disclosure of information and events of all Unigranrio Libraries, access to information repositories produced in traditional and electronic formats, as well as signed Databases of free access, journals and electronic magazines.
The mission of the Integrated System of Libraries is to ease the access to information, having the goal to support the educational, research and extension activities of the academic community, contributing with the pursuit of new knowledges and better life quality through its products and services.
Nucleus of Library Coordination
