With the goal to propagate the scientific research and create a space for reflection and divulgation, Unigranrio gathers text and articles publications of many knowledge areas.

Many materials are available, such as Magazines with brand new articles, projects published by professors and students of Undergraduate and Graduate courses of Unigranrio, in addition to spaces for articles from professors and researches of other teaching institutions.

Education, Sciences and Mathematics Magazine

The Education, Sciences and Mathematics magazine is a periodical of the Master’s Program in Sciences Education, at Unigranrio’s Elementary Education, with quarterly publication. It is destined to the disclosure of unprecedented articles in the area of Sciences Education and Math, providing visibility to the projects developed by researchers and teachers of elementary and high schools. It is open to Portuguese, english and Spanish articles that present research results and experience reports.

Tourism Innovation Observatory Academic Magazine

The Tourism Innovation Observatory Academic Magazine is an initiative of the Unigranrio University Tourism Nucleus. It was originally created at the Brazilian School of Public and Private Companies Administration of Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), in partnership with the Brazilian Institute of Tourism (Embratur), with the purpose to serve the debate of themes related to public and private tourism management, guided to the balance between the theoretical and practical approaches.

The Magazine, which has been edited every semester since 2013, is divided in three sections: articles, case studies and theoretical essays; book reviews; interviews. Its target audience is constituted by professors, researchers, students, professionals, and people interested in tourism literature. The mission of the magazine is to stimulate production and dissemination of knowledges about tourism that may contribute to the academic activities and actions in public or private organizations.

What is Scientific Research?

It is a program directed to undergraduate students of Higher Education Institutions to develop a scientific, cultural and artistic research, under the guidance of qualified researchers.

Objectives / Goals of Scientific Research

To provide the scholarship recipient, guided by a qualified researcher, the domain of methodologies and techniques in common areas: provide conditions to introduce it into the scientific method; to awaken your creativity, make him or her aware about the importance of the stricto sensu graduate; provide the student with opportunity to work as part of a team with solidary, pro-active and ethical attitudes.

Unigranrio’s Administration and Accounting Sciences Magazine

The Administration and Accounting Sciences Magazine (RACC), electronic publication of the School of Social and Applied Sciences of Unigranrio, intends to provide a space for reflection and disclosure about the themes related to the debate of Administration and Accounting Sciences, seeking to provide the apprehension of the Management phenomena and of the participation ways of the Business Organizations, starting the dialogue the administrative and accounting perspective with the ones of other knowledge areas.

The Magazine is open to the publication of researches and reviews in the fields of Administration, Accounting Sciences, Social and Environmental Management, Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, and Employability, as well as in interaction with other common areas, seeking to contribute to the interdisciplinary understanding of the phenomena related to business and accounting management and their reflections and interfaces with the broader social reality.

Magistro Magazine

MAGISTRO, the name magistro is a Latin word with ambiguous meaning, with the possibility of meaning ‘from the professor’ or ‘for the professor’, manifesting its intention of being “from and for the professor”. Of interdisciplinary nature, the MAGISTRO is a semester magazine turned to the Languages, Human and Social Sciences areas, that targets the publication of different scientific and academic texts, related to the interdisciplinary approach, achieved QUALIS B3 in the Interdisciplinary area.
An interdisciplinary approach is related to investigations that generate articulate knowledge between the areas mentioned above. The texts must be unprecedented and resulting from studies and researches in these areas in the form of articles of empirical researches or theoretical studies, critical literature reviews, reports of professional experiences, reviews and summaries of dissertations and thesis.
Magistro publishes texts in Portuguese, english and Spanish, that are submitted to the appraisal of the Evaluators, according to the contribution norms.

Publication calls

Magistro Magazine receives articles and contributions in a continuous flow, having the months of July and June as reference for publications. The theme is free, as long as they are in the areas of Language, Human and Social Sciences. All texts must be submitted to the authors in accordance to the guidelines.

Focus and scope

The Magistro magazine has the goal of spreading the interdisciplinary studies and researchers, considering the areas of Languages, Human and Social Sciences, besides the responsibility to disseminate to researchers, professors and students of different education levels, as well as to those interested in general, the production in this area of research. Created and edited since 2010, under the responsibility of Unigranrio, Magistro has come to be an important vehicle in the area of interdisciplinary scientific diffusion.

ComUnigranrio Magazine

The Social Communication course of Unigranrio emerged in 2005, not only to meet the demands of the Baixada Fluminense students, but also so supply the needs of the job market. Over the course, the students have the opportunity to put into practice everything they learn in the classroom. But, to go beyond the classroom is also to invest in research: to deepen the content taught by the professor, to stimulate curiosity, to formulate hypothesis, to discover the passion for knowledge. In truth, it is impossible to dissociate teaching from research. That is why, in order to strengthen the relation between research and teaching, the Social Communication Course launches the ComUnigranrio Magazine. The goal is to disclose the academic productions of the faculty and student bodies of the Social Communication course of Unigranrio, besides creating a channel to disclose the works of external researchers.
ComUnigranrio publishes articles and reviews prepared by researchers that are part of the faculty body of the Social Communication course, invited professors and students of scientific initiation, or who stood out in their projects. In the semester when the first class will graduate, the Social Communication course achieves one more achievement: a scientific periodical, with current and interesting themes.

Unigranrio’s Law Magazine

The Unigranrio’s Law Magazine (RDUGR), semesterly electronic periodical emerged as a necessity to disclose the academic productions of the faculty and student body of the Law Course of Unigranrio. Its main goal is to disclose the best results produced by the faculty body, when of execution of the Course Conclusion Project (TCC), as well as articles written by the faculty body and researches made by the research groups in place at the Law School. It also as a section reserved for the publication of articles of professors and researchers from other institutions.

Goal: To become a periodical of national reference and a showcase for the academic production of the Law Course of Unigranrio University. Objectives: a) to provide the internal and external academic community with a space destined to the incentive to research. b) To incentive the creation and disclosure of the knowledge of Professors, Students, and Researchers, in such a way to stimulate the academic and scientific debate. Target Audience: Professors and Students of the Law Course of Unigranrio University., and professors and researchers from other institutions. Submission Policy: Articles elaborated by the target audience, as long as they are within the rules and norms for publication of the Magazine, while the academic rules must be observed as well as the research line of the Periodical. Acceptable document types: RGDR will accept scientific articles and bibliographical reviews for publication.

The digital magazine Theology in Dialogue, a quarterly publication of the Theology Course of Unigranrio University, seeks to promote the disclosure of the scientific production in the areas of Theology and other human sciences, enabling a virtual environment ready for the elaboration of dialogues and discussions of interdisciplinary character. Its thematic cut is plural, allowing a participation of diverse researchers coming from different knowledge areas that wish to dialogue with the theological field. In this sense, Theology in Dialogue seeks to be a space where diversified focus may find a way to have a dialogue, thus contributing to the academic production and dissemination of researches. The Digital Magazine Theology in Dialogue receives contributions in the form of academic articles and texts reviews of different areas (theology, literature, philosophy, sociology, psychology, and others). The articles must be unprecedented, product of original research, and not published in other digital or printed periodicals. The authorship of the articles is reserved for professors, masters and doctors.
